We also offer Saturday sessions.
It is our belief that treatment should work with the client, not against.
We realize that these economic times place stress on all. A DUII is a very costly mistake that does not have to be repeated. Our counselors, curriculum, and program philosophy is designed to help, not set the client up for failure. Some programs count on clients to fail, so they can force them into a very costly higher level of care. Sad, but very true.
Shouldn't you have the right to choose what treatment center is best for you? But you must tell the court evaluator the reasons why. Location, times of groups/sessions, days of groups/sessions, counselors with "real" experience, and costs, are but a few reasons for you to demand to be allowed a choice. After all you are the one investing your time and money. Shouldn't you have a say? Since we are licensed and regulated by the state of Oregon, as all DUII and treatment programs must be, you do have a choice. Should you be denied the right to be referred to our program for admission all it takes are a few steps on your part. (see below) DUII------If you are referred by an ADES (usually who you see after going to court) to a Treatment Center that does NOT/will NOT best meet your needs, or that you disagree with being forced to go there, (hours/days of sessions, location, allow you maintain your work schedule) , then you are allowed to file a simple grievance with the ADES that they must respond to in writing. If you still disagree them DHS/AMH will help you with appealing. You CANNOT be punished for this in any way! *We are sorry that some do not feel that they should treat you with respect, and that you have to stand up for your rights, but MOST ADES have a better work ethic.* Please do not choose our program just for the lower costs. We expect our clients to "work for their recovery".
